So where do I begin; I’m Aisha and I know we are going to be friends so let me give you a few heads up: I dance and sing everywhere (I hope that’s ok with you). Also, know that I will be showing off some of my bullet proof dance moves on the dance floor at your wedding.

I’m married to the most incredible man I know, my college sweetheart Maxwell. We have been together for over a decade and got married on our 5th dating anniversary. We have been blessed with the 3 coolest kiddos. My husband and I moved our little family to the countryside near Montreal and it has been so great to live in nature and reconnect with our source. When I’m not  behind a camera or on my computer editing photos, you can find me spending time with my family, baking anything that can be baked, taking walks in a forest near our home, dancing in grocery aisles and spending time with my close circle who are my extended family.

My goofball self loves to have a good time while making sure to make memories of the small moments. I love photos because they freeze time and bring you back to a specific emotion. Being a mother made me realize the importance of those moments even more and how we must cherish them. Time doesn’t wait for us and within a blink of an eye it’s gone, therefore our memories are really the only thing we have.

Being a wedding photographer has only reinforced those values. Nothing really beats capturing the priceless moments of my couples’ weddings. Being able to see the vision, understand their stories and what really matters to them, not only allows me to get them on a personal level but also makes me feel invested into their stories and document their day in a way that represents them.

With over a 100 weddings under my belt, you know you will have a calm presence to reassure you every step of the way whether it is during the planning or on your beautiful day. I work well in fast-paced, unpredictable environments and I adapt myself to whatever situation while keeping the same foundation: RAW & HONEST.

I DO NOT LIKE those typical high school prom poses. You know, the ones where you are so stiff and have a fake smile. I’m all about those genuine moments, the laughs, the cries even the ugly ones, and the fun. I prioritize candid photos and capture my images in a documentary/ journalistic approach. I want you to be able to recognize yourself, your couple and your story.
